About the faculty...

The Faculty of Tourism Economy in Ełk is an external faculty of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz. The Faculty offers first-cycle studies and postgraduate studies, conducts scientific research and executes projects financed from the EU funds.
The Faculty was set up by the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz in 2002, following the invitation from the authorities of Ełk County and after consultations with business environment and its public institutions.

A message from the Dean

The Faculty of Tourism Economy in Ełk was established from the Regional Educational Centre in Ełk. Providing students with broad horizons and thorough knowledge are our main objectives. Students and graduates of the University are successful in knowledge-based and experience-based economy. The successive graduates participate in the formation of highly-qualified labour force in the region, our state or even the world. Both our students and graduates occupy executive positions in different sectors of tourist industries, contributing to their effective development. This success would not have been possible without the engagement of our teaching staff consisting of outstanding educators, scientists and professional experts. 
The faculty particularly cares about interpersonal relations based on mutual respect, friendliness, respect for the rights and dignity of every participant in the educational process. The etiquette and diplomatic protocol are also of significant importance.

How to find us

The Faculty of Tourism Economy in Ełk occupies a part of the building which belongs to Jędrzej Śniadecki School Complex no 1, at 11 Listopada Street 24 in Ełk. The Faculty has its classrooms, administrative rooms, a library with a reading room and a computer laboratory on the leased floor of the building. The Faculty is also equipped with a gastronomy laboratory.
