University of Economy in Bydgoszcz belongs to the most successfully active higher educational institutions in Northern Poland in terms of creating and sustaining international relationships.

Since establishing the Office in 2004, a lot of new international partnerships have been created. These international relations contribute to organizing conferences and courses together with different European partner HEIs. Currently, we have more than 40 partner higher educational institutions from Europe and other countries as well as approx. 60 associated international partners that we are conducting different international projects with. Our aim is to give both students and teachers the opportunity to participate in international programs, gain cross-cultural experience and get the chance to broaden their knowledge and horizon.

Key responsibilities:

• developing and coordinating partnerships with higher educational institutions and other organisations from abroad
• designing and coordinating the implementation of the internationalization strategy of the University
• representing the university at international education fairs
• coordinating students and teachers exchange (not only within Erasmus+ Programme but also within other programmes and agreements with foreign partners) and other international activities (workshops, seminars etc.)
• “Visiting Professor” programme
• “Study Buddy” programme (students support for international students)
• applying for grants for EU projects and coordination of these projects

Moreover, we support and advice different faculties of our University to enable them establishing new partnerships, receiving external financial support or maintaining international relationships.
