A WSG delegation participated in a three-day Africanist Congress co-organized with the Marshal's Office in Torun. The event covered issues related to the political, economic and social aspects of the African continent and its development.

The scope of the conference covered a large geographical and thematic area, from Tunisia to South Africa, including Africans in the diaspora. Among the scholars who attended were specialists representing various fields of knowledge: ethnology and anthropology, history, linguistics, economics and finance, socio-economic geography, political science and international relations. As the organizers emphasize, the combination of multiple perspectives will allow a holistic view of the phenomena taking place on the African continent, along with its complexity and diversity.

Our ascension regarding the education of students from African countries was appreciated by the participants. A meeting with the honorary consul of Tunisia still lies ahead.
