We are thrilled to share the highlights of our unforgettable International Staff Training Week!

Here's a sneak peek into the incredible experiences we had:

Day 1: Welcoming and Exploration

We kicked off with a warm welcome at the university, where we got to know each other and presented our institutions. We participated in Project Safe and explored the charming city. The day ended with a delightful dinner at "Ogniem i Mieczem" restaurant, where we immersed ourselves in Polish traditions, tried on national clothes, and even handled historical weapons! 

Day 2: Dialogue and Learning

Our second day was all about engaging discussions and exchanging experiences at the Dialogue Center workshop. We had an insightful workshop organized by our colleague from Latvia and an open lecture session where participants conducted lessons for our students and interacted with various departments. 

Day 3: Exploring Toruń

We took a fascinating trip to the historic city of Toruń. With the guidance of a knowledgeable guide, we visited notable sites and even got hands-on with gingerbread making! Toruń’s rich history and culture left us all inspired.

Day 4: International Scientific Conference

The highlight of the fourth day was the "International Scientific Conference - Opportunities and Challenges in Higher Education from Theory to Practice." We had the opportunity to listen to our esteemed colleagues presenting their insightful topics. 

Day 5: Celebrating Milestones

We started the day by signing cooperation agreement with our dear partner and handing out the certificates to our participants. This day was exceptionally special as we celebrated the 25th anniversary of WSG University as a university and the 35th anniversary of it being an educational space. The day was filled with joy and creativity, featuring a talent show organized by AIS (Association of International Students) and various workshops suggested by ESC volunteers. 

A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this week so memorable. Looking forward to more such enriching experiences together!
