Orientation Week at WSG University
From 24th till 28th of February students at the WSG University got the chance of taking part in a well-prepared Orientation Week, which was organized by universities in Bydgoszcz.
Orientation week assumes conducting a 5-day cycle of meetings with a group of students currently starting their studies at the WSG University. The main aim of the meetings is to introduce foreign students to the reality of studying and living in Poland.
During these days they have the opportunity to visit our University, city, and region.
Trip to Toruń
Thanks to the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and to the flavor of the famous Torunian gingerbread as well as to the charm and character of one of Europe’s most beautiful old towns, Toruń is a city widely known in Poland and also far beyond its borders.
Bydgoszcz has been voted one of the top 10 trendiest destinations to visit in 2020 as a result of the "European Best Destination 2020" competition. Since 2009, European Best Destinations, created to promote tourism and culture in Europe, in partnership with more than 300 Tourist Offices partners and the EDEN network created by the European Commission, organizes the election of the European Best Destinations.
Nicknamed the ‘Venice of Poland’, Bydgoszcz is home to lots of beautiful attractions, picturesque river banks and colorful architecture that are bound to have tourists happily snapping away. And because it doesn’t attract many tourists like Krakow or Wroclaw, you may find that locals are more inclined to lend a helping hand.
The students of #WSGuniversity and Uniwersytet Kazimierza Wielkiego w Bydgoszczy had a great chance to share their culture and not only! Sweets and snacks from all over the world have become a pretext for conversation and, who knows, maybe a friendship for the rest of life!
